Trinamul Congress released the candidate list for Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Former cricketer Yusuf Pathan has been given ticket from Behrampur.
There is not much time left for the Lok Sabha elections. BJP had released the first list of Lok Sabha candidates. On Sunday, TMC has also declared the names of its 42 candidates. The name of former cricketer Yusuf Pathan is also included in these. Pathan has been made the candidate from Baharampur in West Bengal.

Considering the short time left for the Lok Sabha elections, all the political parties are busy in their respective preparations. BJP had also released its first list. On Sunday, TMC Candidate List for Lok Sabha also released the list of its candidates. Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee announced his candidates for all 42 seats of West Bengal. Yusuf Pathan’s name surprised everyone.
Ticket given to actor Shatrughan Singha from Asansol
Yusuf Pathan has played a lot of cricket for India. He was also a member of the team that won the first T20 World Cup in 2007. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary of Congress is currently the MP from Baharampur. TMC has also fielded actor Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol and Mahua Moitra from Krishnanagar.
TMC Candidate List for Lok Sabha election 2024 includes Uttam Barik from Kanthi, Padmashri Kalipad Soren from Jhargram, Actor Deb from Ghatal, June Malia from Medinipur, Shanti Ram Mahato from Purulia, Arup Chakraborty from Bankura, Shatabdi Roy from Birbhum, Sudata Mandal Khan from Bishnupur, Vardaman Durgapur- Kirti Azad, Bangaon. Bishwajit Das from Barrackpur has made Partha Bhowmik his party’s candidate.
