Along with this, the drivers of Scorpio and other cars also drove their vehicles towards Udaipur. During this, a miscreant fired a pistol in the air.The police station officer said that the information was received from the informer of higher officials that smugglers were taking Doda sawdust to Marwar via Gogunda.
On this, blockade was done at Jaswantgarh intersection. Along with chasing the car that broke the blockade, two Scorpios that ran away from behind were also chased, but their whereabouts were not found. The police station officer said that at 8 in the morning, he reached the spot with the police after receiving information about a car overturning in a pit near Anana Bavji temple on Maruwas Road, plastic bags were taken out from it and kept in another vehicle and two cranes arrived.
One car was overturned in a pit and the other car was on the roadside. The overturned car was being pulled out of the pit using two cranes. Two youths fired in the air from nearby. After this, both of them ran away towards Gogunda in a parked car. Gave this information to Goganda Head Constable Ramchandra. The Team was given instructions to blockade Modi Road and chased the vehicle.
Head constable Ramchandra and constable were blocking the front near Modi, but the car driver broke the blockade and drove the car towards Gogunda. The head constable fired two rounds at the tire of the vehicle, but the driver drove away. After mopping, he took the car away from the Modri culvert towards Iswal. The police officer told that they left the car chase and reached near Anana Bavji temple. From there two crane drivers were detained for questioning.
When the car was taken out, a plastic bag was found. Doda powder was found in it. Its weight came out to be 3 kg 700 grams. Police have registered a case under Section 8/15 of the NDPS Act, Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 5/25 of the Arms Act.
